We have developed a strong position opposing the proposed cell phone site at Cash'n'Carry revealing T-Mobile's disregard for the Culver City Municipal Code and misleading information from the applicants.

The owners of the Cash and Carry at the corner of Sawtelle and Stevens Avenue are seeking a permit to install cell phone transmitters on the roof of their store. This building is located within fifty feet of homes and a few hundred feet from El Rincon Grammar School. The resulting structure will be 37' tall in an area of predominantly single story residences. The instalation of these arrays can be expected to result in reduced property values.
The Culver City Council, Planning Department and City manager need to halt the permitting process in order for appropriate community input to be considered. Further, the transmitters must be relocated to a more suitable location.
